HISTORY & OVERVIEW
The Long Beach Civic Center is composed of five buildings- The Main Library, City Hall, The Long Beach Courthouse, Lincoln Park, and The Long Beach Public Safety Building and Police Station, occupying six blocks. The original City Hall building was built in 1899, and the center was expanded in 1973 to merge the city’s departments into one lot.
